About Harvest Blend

What We Love
Brisk mornings and cool nights make for perfect coffee-drinking weather. Perhaps that’s why we’re so enamored with fall here in the Driftless—it’s another excuse to revel in our quest for the ideal autumnal cup.

Harvest is, without a doubt, one of our favorite blends of the year. As summer warmth gives way to crisp autumn breezes, we’re filled with a sense of nostalgia and tranquility. Harvest captures that experience by blending beans from two of our most treasured Latin American partnerships, where the high-altitude farms echo the essence of our own fall season. This year’s blend showcases two of our cherished relationships: the Triunfo Verde Cooperative of Chiapas, Mexico, and the La Unidad Cooperative of San Marcos, Guatemala. The result is a coffee crafted for the changing seasons.

In the cup, you’ll be greeted by the classic flavors of fall—sweet candied walnuts and warming baking spices reminiscent of clove, balanced by the bright juiciness of freshly picked Gala apples.

About the Producers

Harvest gives us the perfect chance to spotlight the incredible work of our cooperative partners in Guatemala and Mexico. Traditionally, our Harvest Blend has exclusively featured Guatemalan coffees, but when we tasted the coffee from the Santuario community in Chiapas, we knew it was a perfect fit. The unique character of this coffee not only complements but elevates the blend, bringing an exciting new dimension to a seasonal favorite.

Triunfo Verde
This year, we’re breaking new ground by featuring a partnership that’s already close to our hearts: Triunfo Verde. This farmer-first cooperative, rooted in Chiapas, Mexico, has earned global recognition for its unwavering commitment to social impact and exceptional quality. For Wonderstate, we’ve sourced a distinctive coffee from Triunfo Verde’s Santuario community, home to 30 farming families who are either founding members or descendants of the cooperative’s founders. Their dedication to sustainable, organic coffee production is unparalleled, and so is the quality of their beans. This offering from Santuario infuses the blend with spice-laden aromas, a sweet nuttiness, and those quintessential apple tones that define the season.

La UnidadThe La Unidad Cooperative, nestled in the western mountains of Guatemala’s San Marcos department, is a relatively new partner for Wonderstate. We’ve long been drawn to Guatemalan coffees for their complexity and lively citrus notes, and La Unidad’s offerings epitomize these qualities while layering in a deep, chocolatey richness. Enhanced by baking spices, aromatic cedar, and a bright berry-like acidity, this coffee’s profile bears a delightful resemblance to those from Chiapas, Mexico—fitting, given La Unidad’s close proximity to the Guatemala-Mexico border. We love the depth and velvety smoothness this coffee brings to our Harvest Blend, offering a rich, nuanced experience that’s simply irresistible. Plus, these coffees have been organically produced for generations, giving us yet another reason to celebrate these remarkable smallholder farming families.
